Grade Level: 9th and 10th

Duration:  1-2 periods (45 minutes each)

 

Aim:  For students to dissect the kidney and to familiarize themselves with the anatomy and physiology of the excretory system.

Materials and Prep:  

Prior Knowledge: The dissection should act as a review at the end of excretory system. Students must understand the vocabulary, function and structure of the kidney as part of the excretory system.
